Andrew Massa is a Partner at InariLaw. He primarily focuses on maritime law, with particular emphasis on the yachting sector. On a day-to-day basis, he advises yacht owners, operators, managers, brokers, and other industry participants on a broad range of legal and commercial matters.
His work spans the full lifecycle of yachting transactions, including sales and acquisitions, new-build projects, and major refit and shipyard arrangements, as well as the related regulatory, fiscal, and structuring considerations. Andrew regularly supports clients from the initial stages of project conception and construction through to acquisition, refit, and ongoing operational phases.
Known for his pragmatic and client-focused approach, Andrew takes the time to understand each client’s objectives and provides practical, tailored advice that aligns commercial priorities with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Andrew holds a Master’s degree from the International Maritime Law Institute (IMLI) and is also an Executive Committee member of the Malta Maritime Law Association (MMLA), in which he is also actively involved in the yachting subcommittee.
In addition to his maritime practice, Andrew also advises on corporate and commercial matters, assisting businesses with contract drafting and review, corporate governance, and day-to-day legal issues.
